2009 Snow Storm
We recently planted sugar snap peas, kales, onions, chards and more; they all became covered by a foot of snow. The snow insulated the seeds and after a few days melted and watered them in nicely. Warm weather was to follow and everything germinated. (photo says 2007, Brenna had it on the wrong date, I didn't bother to crop it.)
After a hard week of working on the farm, there is no better place than the swimming hole. This is about a 20' jump on the Cedar Run Trail.

Everybody needs beauty

as well as bread,

places to play in and pray in, where Nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike.
